Manny will join the panel of a group of creatives discussing the importance of positive mental health at an event called ‘Creative Minds talk about Mental Health’
‘Creative Minds talk about Mental Health’ is an event created in support of mental health awareness week. A number of non-profit organisations across the borough of Barking and Dagenham, East & South London, will be coming together to share their experiences and showcase three films relating to mental health affecting our community of men, women and youths. Our Founder, Manny, is also part of the panel.
The day will consist of (in no particular order):
Film showcase by Santano Productions & True Cadence CIC – 3 short films created to raise awareness of mental health challenges affecting men, women and youths, followed by a panel discussion.
You will hear from our panellists, men, women and youths, who will share their lived experiences of overcoming mental health challenges through the power of creativity, especially during lockdown.
Music performances by Aisha Peters, Jaida-Phoenix, Jahni and Poetry by Neusa Catoja, Queen of Self Love.
The aim of the event is to view films and share experiences, raise awareness, provide solutions and promote services available locally to support your mental wellbeing.
When creatives come together; we Inspire, Motivate and Elevate one another to succeed.
Let’s break the Stigma of mental health and collectively heal.
Please note this is a donation-only event. Donations will go towards all costs of the event.
We look forward to seeing you and creating positive solutions for better mental wellbeing.
