Why Black Vinyl?
Why the name Black Vinyl? Ask my mum. Yes seriously! In the intro of my Afrobeat EP, ‘Black Vinyl’, Mum talks about how the universe has taken me round and round like a vinyl record (referring to my life experiences and tough upbringing). One can even say I’ve been through more crap than a civet coffee maker, but somehow, I found the strength and courage to bounce back. This is the very foundation that Black Vinyl Consulting Services (BVCS) is built upon.
Your lived and learned experiences play a key role in how you approach personal and professional development and how you navigate challenges. The resilience you built since your childhood could determine whether you become a successful entrepreneur or quit after the first issue you encounter.
The problem is that many aspiring entrepreneurs and business leaders don’t know how to harness those key strengths and qualities that make us who we are. That is where I come in. Having built a community organisation during COVID and gaining multiple awards and recognition in the process, including becoming a finalist at the Great British Entrepreneur Awards within a year of establishing a music social enterprise, True Cadence, I’m fully aware that Social Entrepreneurship is a lonely journey, and I am determined to support you throughout the process.
Grab this opportunity to learn from my blessings and my lessons- I say lessons because mistakes are only mistakes when you don’t learn from them. Let’s deliver results!
