Honoured to Be Recognised in the Barking and Dagenham Hall of Fame
I am incredibly proud to announce that I have been recognised in the Barking and Dagenham Hall of Fame, which celebrates the remarkable achievements of individuals of African and Caribbean heritage within the borough. This recognition is a true honour, and it represents not only my personal journey but also the collective support of the community I grew up in and continue to serve.
As the Founder and CEO of True Cadence, I have always been passionate about creating opportunities for young people, especially those who are underrepresented in the music industry. By focusing on the business side of music, we equip young people with the knowledge and tools they need to succeed in an industry that often feels out of reach. Music, for me, is not only a form of creative expression but also a powerful way to unlock potential and create new opportunities.
Through my work with universities, community organisations and research partners, I strive to expand access to music and enterprise opportunities for young people. This recognition reinforces my commitment to making a lasting impact on future generations and continuing to champion the potential of our youth.
Thank you to the Barking and Dagenham community for this humbling recognition. It inspires me to keep pushing forward in my mission to empower young people through music and entrepreneurship.
